Just heard about this from a coworker. This tiny camera lets you adjust your focus point after you take the photo. Go to the website and check out the picture gallery page and change the focus points on the pictures. Very cool stuff. Check it out at www.lytro.com
I love Lomo cameras. Now they came out with “the world’s widest auto compact camera.” Not only does it do wide format (Standard 36x24mm), it also has SQUARE FORMAT (24x24mm) and HALF-FRAME FORMAT (17x24mm). $389.00. See more at lomography.com
Another sweet DIY tutorial from the folks at diyphotography.net. This one is a little more in depth with metal rails, timing belts and truck. There are a ton of images and videos. Go check it out at diyphotography.net

Got to love the DIY crowd. Martin Taylor put together a pretty sweet rig. Using epoxy, PVC pipe and rollerblade wheels this looks like it could be a pretty cheap but effective set up. Check out diyphotography.net for the complete instructions and demo video shot using the slider.
