As a design I make clipping paths everyday. If you are new to design or haven’t learned this skill yet, here is a tutorial that will advance your photoshop skills. This video is pretty entertaining (hilarious) but also instructional. Go get your path on.

Corban Invites
Here is the latest personal project- invites for my son’s first birthday. My wife came up with the concept and theme. She had a couple of ideas she wanted – for it to look like a post card and to look vintage. This is what I came up with. I love the postmark, which I created from scratch. Check out the tutorial on the grunge effect I post earlier this month and you can figure out how I did the background. As always. if anyone is interested in custom invites I am available and affordable. Enjoy.

MoMA EXHIBITIONS – What Was Good Design? 1944–56
MoMA EXHIBITIONS – What Was Good Design? MoMA’s Message 1944–56
May 6, 2009–November 30, 2009
Architecture and Design Galleries, third floor
“At mid-century MoMA played a leading role in the definition and dissemination of so-called Good Design, a concept that took shape in the 1930s and emerged with new relevance in the decades following World War II. This installation presents selections from MoMA’s design collection that illuminate the primary values of Good Design as promoted (and disputed) by museums, design councils, and department stores. Iconic pieces by designers like Charles and Ray Eames and Hans Wegner are shown alongside more unexpected items, such as a hunting bow and a plumb bob, as well as everyday objects including an iron, a hamper, a rake, a cheese slicer, and Tupperware.” Check out the link for more info.
Benji Wagner Photographer
