I saw this online awhile back and thought it was pretty cool. Then I saw it in the store. It’s definitely light weight and easy & fast to setup however it’s pretty flimsy. I could not see myself using this for a DSLR. One of the main drawbacks is it’s fixed height. I do think this would be a great tripod to take on a hike with a digital point and shoot. Also, if you wanted to shoot with an off camera flash this could be a nice light stand. The only other thing that is holding me back from buying one is the price, $50 seems a little steep for me. DIY: How to build an adjustable light stand
Chloe Early
Fecal Face sat down and did a Chloe Early Interview. She has some pretty amazing art. What’s interesting is the subject is somewhat dark but the images are bright and lively. I think her painting style is pretty awesome. Check here out at Fecal Face.

Fox and Freeze Felt chair
First of all I think this chair looks pretty cool and I am a big fan of felt. Secondly, it actually holds weight. The Fox and Freeze “ff1 indoor lounge chair” is made up of an entire sheet of synthetic felt. “And that’s one sheet in its entirety–there are no waste swathes cut from it, except for the little felt pills that drop out where the holes are drilled.” Artistic and inventive. See more, including a strength test video, here.
